| General_Gladius Gladius sat in his office working on his message to the Mandolorian government, he knew that the Republic Remnant would not be able to take on the Imperial forces without heavy reinforcment, and the Mandolorians were always up for a good fight. His invite was being sent to their highest command structure, and the invite was for 1 warship each to meet at neutral territory near the Ghost Nebula
Anubis_Xerxes Fleet Admiral Xerxes had been using his personal warship to annihilate the Imperial star destroyers throughout the galaxy, one by one. He wanted to hold the rest of his fleet back, because he was planning something grand. The Mandalorians indeed was infamous for always being ready for a fight. It didn't take long before his people was able to reach Anubis. The Mandalorian warrior decided to take up an invitation from a General Gladius, whoever that was. It had to be someone important, or else it wouldn't have gone up high in the Mandalorian structure of government. The BC-304 would pull out of their routine hit-and-run operations, and entered into hyperspace en route to the meeting.
General_Gladius There was one ship waiting for Anubis just outside the Ghost Nebula, but it was an impressive show of force in its own right, it was the Audacious, an Mon Calamari star cruiser, MC90 class to be exact. And it carried a sensor signature as a Republic Warship
Anubis_Xerxes Hours later, the warship dropped out of hyperspace. Anubis was in his full armored Mandalorian Shocktrooper armor, with the helmet and the WESTAR-34 pistols inside the holsters, plus all the cool gadgets he had hidden within the armor. He got off the command chair, and walked over nearby to get himself in front of the holotransmitter. It activated almost right away, sending a channel to the MC90 that had just been scanned by the BC-304. "This is Anubis Xerxes of the Mandalorians, please respond."
General_Gladius The response would come almost immediately, the man in the hologram was obviously a badly scarred clone trooper, but wore the Naval uniform of a Republic officer, and the rank insignia's of a General. "This is General Gladius of the Republic Remnant Government. Welcome to the ghost Nebula."
Anubis_Xerxes There was an image of Jango Fett, or rather Boba Fett. They were infamous among the Mandalorians and among outside the Mandalorian culture, they were present as a symbol for the Mandalorians. This man may be a clone, but he wasn't like the original one. "Thanks. So...are we gonna be discussing why you invited me on my ship or over on your ship?" The warrior was never one for many words, he prefers to let action speak loud for him.
General_Gladius "I would like to advance an invite to yourself and your staff to join me onboard the Audacious for a state dinner and discussions, during or after dinner." Gladius explained. A full 30 percent of the ships crew were now preparing a massive feast for the accords in the main dining hall which was now off limit for the talks The Audacious was not quite as beautiful as the normal Mon Calamari cruisers, and was obviously not made at a Calamari shipyard. but impressive none-the-less
Anubis_Xerxes The Mandalorian nodded at the clone, "That's generous of you, I'll bring my most trusted warriors along. I'll see you soon." Anubis would have the comm cut as he got outside the bridge and headed for the Firespray he has as his own personal ship. The Mandalorian would also order his most trusted warriors to tag along for the ride. Those warriors were simply four Mandalorian commandos that had killed a lot of stormtroopers over the years. Soon thereafter, he and the men would get inside the ship before taking off. They would head for the star cruiser.
General_Gladius An Honor guard of officers in dress uniforms and soldiers in their armor would be awaiting the landing of Anubis's ship. With the appropriate music(if any) for arriving Mandolorian Dignatories was playing in the background as he would step off his ship. Every single soldier and officer would snap to attention for Anubis and his officers. Gladius stood steadfast with respect for the incoming warriors
Anubis_Xerxes The Firespray would arrive, and the armored Mandalorian warriors were greeted with such decorations. It was completely unnecessary for their culture, but he knew it was necessary for Gladius' people. Anubis decided to be a pretty straightforward about it, but would be nice about it too. "You didn't have to throw all this for me, but thank you." He nodded his head in respect, "Well, shall we General?"
General_Gladius "You are welcome, tGladius offered a partial bow, and waived his hand towards the portal to the passage way where he lead them towards the cavernous mess hall which had obviously been done up for their arrival, and there was a feast awaiting them, food representing all sorts of civilizations including a massive display of food from Mandalore obviously they had done their homework. There was a number of officers however there was no politicians.
Anubis_Xerxes He continued to walk with the General down the hallway until they came into the mess hall. Obviously, they had put a lot of efforts into this. There were a lot of food from Mandalore, which he had appreciated. Everyone in the room seems to be of military. No political-looking fellows. That was a huge plus sign for Anubis. He never liked politics. They were too bureaucratic for his taste.
General_Gladius Gladius led the Mandalore team to the central table were wait staff pulled chairs out for him, and after a short winded speach that seemed to be needed to settle the room he simply stated "Lets eat" and sat down."I am pleased that your government agreed to meet with us Anubis." He took a big dish of food from the Mandalorian table of food. "Although a tad surprised, as i dont think many organizations would recognize our existance let alone open talks with us."
Anubis_Xerxes Anubis went ahead and sat down, taking his helmet off his head and rest it on the floor. The rest of the Mandalorians did the same, and the team went straight to eating. He also took a big dish of Mandalorian food, deciding to take a couple of bites before speaking with the General. But not before he lets a loud chuckle escape his mouth, "Well, you know us Mandalorians. We don't operate like a typical sector government. We're always looking for warriors to aid us in the fight against the Empire, and you seems to be one of them despite your...appearance." He may have been very direct, but it wasn't meant to be an offense.
General_Gladius "We have been out of the fight for a while, but we have not been quiet. Our military forces have doubled since we arrived back in known space, and we signed a planet to our Accord who has pleged full backing economically. We went to interceed at Korriban against an Imperial fleet, but there was something wrong with the situation. The imperial fleet didnt even send fighters out to meet our forces." He looked confused, "So we pulled out before we got caught in an obvious trap."
Anubis_Xerxes The Mandalorian raised his eyebrows and kept his attention toward Gladius, "No doubt they thought they were heading for something more important or else they wouldn't have allowed your forces to leave in one piece."
General_Gladius "I have a feeling that wasnt the fact, afterall a spokes person for us demanded the surrender of the Empress with our arrival." He shrugged, he couldnt explain it himself, even less so now that he was thinking back on it. "None-the-less we got out and are itching to lay waste to the Imperial forces soon." he took a big bite out of something meaty "Now our second fleet is under construction, and our ground forces have been boosted with the addition of 5 new divisions of infantry and the construction of a large amount of armor."
Anubis_Xerxes He leaned back in his chair just as he grabbed something bread-like and put the pieces of it into his mouth, "Well, I have a feeling you need our help in something or else you wouldn't have contacted us."
General_Gladius Noded. "We need all the military help we can get, The empire has us outnumber by a factor of a thousand in the air, and by billions on the ground. If we are to start to make any headway against this Empress, we are going to need to work together, and we are going to need to find partners." he explained. "Not to mention, you guys are some of the best military minds in the galaxy, and probably hands down the best warriors in the known galaxy....scrap that you ARE the best warriors in the known Galaxy."
Anubis_Xerxes Anubis grinned evilly, "It's about time someone give the Empire a kick in the ass. The rebels aren't doing it enough, so are the Jedi. Let's go inflict some damage." The Mandalorians may be cold, hardened warriors that seek honor and glory through battle but it won't be hard to convince them of fighting a worthy opponent such as the Empire. "Where and when do we start/"
General_Gladius Smiles with a visciousness that equalled his Mandalorian counterpart. "within the next couple of months, our fleet will be at full strength and our armies will be fully trained and ready to start stripping worlds away from the empire." he explained. "We will be able to feild over a quarter million well trained soldiers."
Anubis_Xerxes "The more the merrier. We need to annihilate every single Imperial warship in this galaxy. The more damage we do to their ships, the more it will restrict their movements." That was the reason why he had been using his flagship to obliterate every single one that had come his way. "We will be a force to be reckoned with."
General_Gladius "I absolutely agree." He smiled and placed his hand on the pad in front of him and slid it down the table to him. The agreement stood as equal leadership, a non agression agreement between the Mandalorians and Lianna, and a full military alliance between the Brigade of Light and the Mandalorian military.
Anubis_Xerxes Anubis didn't even hesitate to grab the pad and went ahead to sign the sheet. It would help to finally do something for the rest of the galaxy, and give the Dark Princess a taste of her own medicine.
General_Gladius He stood up and offered Anubis his hand, as fists started to pound on the tables in a rythm as it was apparent that an agreement was being reached. Imagers were coming out and pictures and video was being taken as this historical moment was being done.
Anubis_Xerxes He grabbed ahold of Gladius' hands and pressed it firmly. "Let's go kill us some imps." Anubis then went on to eat his meal, all while watching the pictures and videoes popping up all over the place.
General_Gladius there were cheers that broke out around the room, as officers and soldiers would take their turns making their ways up to central table and congratulated everyone, then the Alcohol came out.
