| The gates to the palace opened admited Prince Tarazai and his lifemate Storm, greeted by the palace guards, no weapons drawn, the two were expected to arrive, the guards told to escourt Tarazai and Storm to the dais, where Tarazai will find his father seated at the high board, surrounded by noble Shattai's waiting for his son to arrive.

| Tarazai walked hand in hand with Storm at his side. when they reached his father he knelt with his head lowered respectfully to him and awaited permission to rise.

| Her worry of what could happen was starting to get to her as she pressed her hand into his gently as they walked up to his father. This would not be a good thing in her pride. So she was scared of course. She followed what Taraz did kneeling down next to him as she lowered her head slowly.

| "RISE DO NOT BOW BEFORE ME" came Walds mighty voice, he stood raised both his hands over his head, removing his crown placing it down on the high table, all who stood in the dais went quiet. "Tarazai the throne is yours" Waldenmar claimed in front of everyone, they all beared witness to the Kings decision, two of his other sons may take it as a outrage, Wald would deal with it. In silence the former King left the dais.

| Tarazai stood, stunned at his father's announcement, "Father? What is the meaning of this? What is going on?" He looked to Storm and then back to Waldenmar as left the room. He looked to the others assembled there in just as much shock as they were.

| Wald was surprised by his own decision, leaving his son and his lifemate Storm to to rule the Shattai Kingdom. Sure he heard his sons confused sentence, no answer given why Wald handed the throne over to Tarazai.

| Wald came to a quick halt, slowly glanced towards his sons diretion, he snarled as Tarazai bolted after him. There was a sort of confused look on Walds expression. "blah why do you follow me, my son, I thought this is what you want, to rule the Shattai Kingdom, or are you just playing games as always". Walds confused expression turned to anger.

| Draven arched a brow to all of this, arms crossed over his chest, he stood in the back ground taking this all in, he was pissed that their father went and given the crown to his bleedish heart brother Tarazai. Tarazai lifemate wasn't even a Shattai, the enemy. What was his father thinking, what had happened to their father, this was out of character for him to do, what was his brothers Tarion or Warion going to think of this, even his sister. Draven quietly slipped away, hell no! never would he follow the rule of his bleedish heart brother, "yeah right" he grumbled to himself, "hell noooo" Draven grumbled, disgusted. Oh yeah he was going to become trouble to his father and brother King Tarazai Maco Shattai. This was going to turn into a whole new Shattai war.

| In time Tarion was informed of this new situation, he too saw this as completely out of character for his father. His father would never simply hand the throne over to ANY of them without a fight or some sort of challenge of worthiness. It was then that he decided that he had to meet up with Draven and Warion.
