| Brander brought Alex back to the medbay, with the help of the medbay staff, here she could rest, and get over the shock of Flint resigning. Brander worried about Alex, he hoped she'd pull through this, she had to, she was stronge, while she rested in the comfort of her bed, Brander pased, his thoughts fogged, what were they to do with out Flint?, of course the Senate would have to move on, but what had caused Flint to resign his position as the Chief of state, besides what he had explained to everyone in the Senate hall, he sighed, and glanced towards Alex to see if she was awake.

| Was taken to the med bay again by Bran which would never hold a complaint to him carrying her! He was one who knew her secert and a few of the jedi apparently but she was not worried about them. She opened her eyes when she was put down in the bed and reached to grab his hand not wanting him to leave her. “ Bran… what?” she whispered to him with a soft sigh. She was confused on what happened the last thing she remembered was standing in the senate chambers and there was no smell like the one the med bay had to it.. “ No, do not make me stay here, please.. I am okay I promise. “ she pleaded to him softly. The only one she had really been talking to was the young padawan who had done a lot of messenger work for her and that girl was sharp in what she was doing. Though she had seemed to be sad whenever she mentioned the master of hers or at least it appeared to be so. She did look a bit pale but she was getting so much better reaching her other hand from the sling it moved slowly to take Bran’s other hand “ Please Bran.. “ she asked him again.

| For whatever reason Flint refused to stop and speak to him and he was not one to just stand around and wait so he shook his head in disgust leaving a message for the senate guards to bring him in if the man ever came back. This would not go unsettled one simply does not walk out with any reason or excuse. The man would be placed under house arrest by the senate itself he would see to it. This act was childish in everyway and he would get to the bottom of this soon enough he hoped at least. He stepped into the door of the med bay that the senator Lexi had been taken to watching the two for a long few minutes in silence. Before clearing his voice like he was going to speak. “ I am sorry, I could not catch him.. I will help in whatever way I can “

| Brander reached out to her out stretched hand, confussion written on her face, "Alex your awake" he said, and gently squeezed her hand. "Hey your going to be just fine, you'll be able to return to your own senate chamber", resureing her she was only going to be here for a few more hours. Brander knew how she disliked the senate medbay, his attention turned to Senator Witten. "Senator Witten please come in" he said, signaled to the visitors chair opened to Witten if he cared to take a seat. "hmmm I cant speak for Flint or why he left, his seat in the Senate Hall now stands vacant, I ask the position of Chief of State, to remain open to Flint, if he decides to come back".

| She gave a light tug of his arm trying to pull him close to her. She hated the med bay more than anything. Looking over at the man who came in. With a frown listing to what Bran said to him. " Leave it open! Bran!" she was almost angry with her words about it. Anyone who would simply walk out did not need to be there in there frist place and that was her thought on it! Hell she had thought of the man as an uncle to her... and he simply destered them! No she was not going to let this pass by " I will not have it!"

| Brander's gaze swept back to Alex, the tug to his hand, he sensed her anger through the force, she made herself prefectly clear!, about Flint. "It is your anger that speaks Alex", he glanced to Witten, "your thoughts the same Senator".

| " I will speak however I want Bran!" She snapped at him with a low tone in her voice. But she was hurt and angry deep down. Her gaze swept over to the man who had come in to see what he was going to say about this all.

| Stepped into the doorway and towards the indicated chair where he came to a stop. When the woman spoke in a harsh tone to the other senator. With a blink wow she was angry even he picked up on that. " I do not think we can stand and get anything done with no leader. Why flint left I do not know but I do know there are some races who would kill for the act he is played on the senate. Maybe I should go and allow you two some time to deal with things. "

| Brander sighed to Alexs anger, with her anger sometimes came the old silent treatment, but Witten didn't really answer his question straight, of course they needed a new leader, the Senate couldn't stay in a mess of state. "Your welcome to stay, and keep Alex company, if your busy we will catch you in the senate hall later".

| From the doorway of the Medbay doorway a somewhat sheepish cough was made by the aging senator as he appeared there. He had not cut a quick retreat as many must have assumed after leaving the Senate Hall, nor had he been taken into custody or stopped by the Senate Guards, though a pair now flanked him escourting him through the building. Despite being cloaked in his regal senate robes and well groomed, his stance hardly suggested that of a man deserving of the outfit. Moving into the center of the doorframe, and blocking off Witten's exit, he clasped his hands behind his back. The atmosphere that hung over the room suggested his suspicions. Most of the Senators would see his actions as a betrayal. "If your words imply your feelings, Senator Witten, strike me down where I stand. Hear me out though. My announcement led to disarray and conclusions were drawn hastily. If my position is still available, I would prefer to remain in the Senate. With the recent misunderstandings though, I doubt many would want me back. You have to understand though, I was voted into position and at the time I knew there were things that needed to be done immidiately, so I did not decline the position. Now that we have order though, and people have cleared their heads of the incident at Iczell, there must to be another vote. Too many people's decisions could have been swayed by my actions that day. Staying in the position would go against all that the Republic stood for, and all that we want to achieve for Democracy. The position of Cheif of State should go to someone able to dedicate 100% of their time to rebuilding the Senate. With all that I have been through, and all that I have going on in the galaxy, I would not be able to do that. Like I said to those who remained in the Senate Chamber, It would not be fair to the rest of the senators, or the people we serve. If I remain, it will only be as a normal senator, not vice-chief of state, or cheif of state itself. Most of the Senate left before I had a chance to explain that...I just thought you deserved to know...." He turned towards Witten then. "You wished to speak to me outside the Senate Hall. I'm sorry I avoided you then. I just hadn't expected such a hostile reaction...I needed time to recompose myself. Do you still wish to speak?"

| Looked over at the doorway and oooh the anger that rolled through her seeing flint standing there in the doorway. She growled so that Bran that was next to her would hear it.. She thought of many things to say to him and well none of them were nice at all.. She had thought of him so highly and he walked out without even a goodbye or anything.. " You betray and abandoned us! when I felt as if you were family to me.. How dare you!" she yelled and fell slient all of the sudden moving to get out of bed on the other side away from Bran hoping he would not catch her. She was angry and hurt and had the right to be such...

| With every intention of leaving the room as hot headed as Senator Lexi was being. he turned hearing her yell at someone at the door. He looked very surprised himself seeing the man standing there. The young man slipped his hands behind him so that he did not just punch him out right there though in the med bay would be the most suitable place. “You have a lot of nerve to simply show up again... I may not be the best in political or anything like that. My father always taught me you don’t walk out on family.” He said motioning a hand over to Lexi to indicate who he was referring to. Letting his hand drop back behind him again clenching his fists together again tight there. “I would not kill a man in cold blood; there is no honor in it. Just as leaving with no reason or concern for anyone else does. What you have done may be honorable in it but leaving and destroying it all with koas is not. You will have to earn my trust senator…” The last word spoken with harshness in it that came from the young man. His gaze moved across the room to the window to look out the window at the city around them so that he would not say or do something that he might regret later.

| Narrowing his eyes, Ajax straightened up to his full height, his gaze turning cold as he looked between Witten and Alexiean. "Show up again? Let me set you all straight. I never left, Senator Witten. It was you, " his eyes turned to Alexiean. "And you, " then to Torok "And all the rest of the Senate that let their base instincts get the better of them as all of you walked out on me, before I could explain that I simply wanted a re-election, and that I would not accept further nominations myself. I remained in that chamber and spoke to none but the cleaning droids and the ghosts of senators past while the rest of you left in rage before hearing anything I had to say." Whatever fight seemed to have stirred up in the man dwindled fast as he spoke, and it showed just how much it pained him that not even the senators he had served with before Iczell, and had formed a bond with here, had waited to hear him out. Still, he continued on, no coldness left in his stare. "You know what happened the last time the senate was driven into such a frenzy out of rage? Chancellor Palpatine was made the Emperor, the Jedi were slaughtered for crimes they did not commit, and the whole galaxy got a lot darker. You must allow reason to guide your judgement, not anger. Take a page from the books of the Jedi before you destroy yourselves and all we have built so far. There was reason in why I left, and I just told you such reasons had you been listening and not simply waiting to vent your rage. I believe that the votes were swayed in my favor because of my actions at Iczell, and that is not democracy. Acts of heroism in war should never be the reason for winning an election when calmer, cooler heads than mine with many more bright ideas for the future could prevail. When I look ahead, I see only destroying the sith and the Empire in my future, but I look at all of you and I see great futures for all of you, and I'm sure you can see them too. You look towards rebuilding, starting new lives, having families and bringing them up in a better world than this, but I am too old and focused to be a good leader for this Senate in times of peace, which will come no matter how dark things get. If I was in control...I would be afraid of what the power would do to me in my quest to destroy my enemies, and that I would drag the rest of the senate down with me." He let out an exhasperated sigh and cast a glance back over his shoulder, out into the hallway. "If you still will not see reason with my presence so near, then perhaps I would have achieved more if I actually did leave, causing you to rally behind the leader that pulls you from this chaos that I have caused. I have not left though. I am still here for this Senate and this galaxy, and I will fly on and fight on to the last drop of blood and the last drop of fuel, to the last beat of my heart. If believing in true democracy and protecting the ones I love from the enemy is enough to condemn a man, then I am guilty and would gladly pay any price for such a crime."
