-Hiss-

-Hiss-

The automated hiss of mechanical breathing breached the sanctified silence of space. Through the vocal processor the heavy breathing came, agitated, brooding. The glass visor of the helmeted space suit provided a view in to the one within – the one the pressurized suit was keeping alive. Arms crossed over his chest, legs crossed in front of him, the captain of the Solus Verde glared out a the surroundings around him.

“You know...”

The captain started, after a long period of silence.

“You could have told me we were flying into a fleet of Sith star destroyers...”

He tilted his head upward – that is to say – downward, towards his co-pilot. Indeed, he was seated upside down on the ceiling of his own cockpit, no trace of artificial gravity or any sort of atmosphere beyond the suit. His boots could have kept him anchored to the floor, but frankly, he was not too eager to help with any of the repairs to the damages he deemed were the fault of the droid. Off to his right, the door to the starboard section of the ship was blown half open, bent out of shape, and beyond there was an open star scape, glimmering beyond. The lights of the consoles were nearly all offline, leaving the stars above, and the occasional flare of sparks from the starboard's damaged components, to light the ship up.

The droid replied without looking up.

“We could have taken them. There were only three star destroyers and one super.”

Karth Veshok – the captain – let out a grumble and uncrossed his arms.

“I can't believe it. This is the second time that woman has blown a hole in my ship.”

The droid was silent for a while longer, then could be heard droning under his breath "Witch."

And so they floated there a while longer, stranded amidst the stars.

"We should probably send out a distress call...patch me through on an open channel."

To all vessels in range,

This is Karth Veshok of the Arkonis vessel Solus Verde, requesting assistance from any vessel within twelve hours range. Any longer than that and the only ship that should bother coming is a salvege crew, since that's how long my oxyygen will last. If you are a salvege crew, bring a platoon of marines with you, otherwise my droid will be hard to take down. My ship has sustained heavy damage from pirate raiders and repairs will take longer than I have.

I ask that anyone capable and willing to render assistance close on my position with due haste. Co-ordinates are attached in this message.

Karth Veshok, Out.

The message was set to repeat every five minutes on all open channels, along with some restricted channels - both Imperial and Rebel.

Damion stood on the bridge of his flag ship, his white robes flowing at his feet. His hood up covering his face. He was tall. Six foot three and two hundred and thirty nine pounds of muscle. His saber was clipped to his hip. The mandalorian sword given to him by the mandalorians as a sign of their alliance with the Rebels also on his hip, shield on his back, and of course the trinket given to him by slaughter on his neck incase he needed reinforcements. He had glowing blue eyes and they shift to the sound of the distress signal. His arms opened and he waved them forward to signify to them though he said it as well. "Lets get there before the imps do.." He said as he turned headed towards the captains chair. His ship was monstrous. Though that was to be expected as the flag ship of the entire alliance. He would flop in the seat.

A voice spoke up "Jumping to hyper drive" And a thrust of the fleet and they were off. "This could be a trap sir" A man said to which Dami said "Could be..But its fun to find out.." He said grinning as he felt the ship jolting out of hyper space in the debris ridden area. He rose looking around. They took no more than a hour with how close they were. "Lets see to the ship" He said as the scanners picked up for it as visual scans were commenced.

The distress call also answered by Adamos, a transmission would now be returned, as long as Karth understood Wookiee, the transmission was.

I have your distress call and coordinates on my way.

After an hour of sulking, Karth had finally began to help with the repairs - in fact, it had only taken him five minutes of inactivity before he began to rewire minor systems, and now he was rerouting entire power conduits from the starboard section of the ship, isolating the damaged compartments. Thankfully, the turbolaser had only glanced the outer side of the ship, only a few feet back from the bow, where neither weapons nor main engine sections were located. Therefore, the only problem was the fact that there was a massive hole in his ship, and that his ship's computers had shut themselves down shortly after Karth had sent his distress call to avoid causing further damage by sending power through damaged condiuts.

While working beneath the large gaping hole in his hull, he become somewhat acustomed to the view of the stars up above his head - it was almost like when he was piloting, save for the fact that all the oxygen could get out through the unprotected hole. Therefore, it was a bit of a shock when after a little while of working, he glanced upwards to see no stars, but rather the drab grey color of a starship hull blocking out the entire hole, giving him some idea of just how large the ship was. "Well, we've got company."

"I'll bring weapon systems online." The bloodthirsty droid began firing up initial systems, only to have Karth come sailing past, using advantage of the lack of gravity to travel quickly through the door into the cockpit. He grabbed hold of the main console, halting his momentum while with his other hand he killed weapon systems and charged the sensor jammers. "Damned reactor reboot. Come on!" He slammed the console and the jamming hardware sent out a pulse towards the massive ship. The jammer was heavy military grade software, but for a Flagship even the high tech sensor jammers might not block out their software. "NOW we can get the weapons online. We're not about to jump to hyperspace, so we might as well go out fighting if they try to take us. Oh, turn the comms back online too. We'll see what they have to say. Maybe they're friendlies, about time the Alliance showed up."

The droid took a little too much eagerness in bringing weapons online, then plugged in to the navigation console where through a series of jury rigs the droid could control all the weapon systems at once. Thus, as small as it was compared to that of the Rebel Flagship, the armament of the Solus Verde locked on to the vessel.

With the comm systems back online, Karth also picked up the call coming in from the Wookiee. While he himself could not understand a word of it, Vex could. "There's a wookiee says he's coming to say hello. Hmm...something tells me we've got it covered though." The droid mused with a chuckle, glancing upwards at the massive ship.

Karth, a little alarmed that Vex might do something crazy like fire off a warning shot at the gigantic vessel, moved to the comm unit.

"This is Karth Veshok of the Solus Verde, to the Captain of the vessel off the Starboard bow." He paused a minute, considering how to continue the message, then grinned ruefully. "State your intentions or prepare to be boarded." The joke might be appreciated by someone in the Alliance, and if it was Imperial, well, he was dead either way. Switching to an encrypted channel, he sent a second message, this time to the Wookie.

"This is Karth Veshok of the Solus Verde. Your message has been recieved. Be advised, sensors are offline and a massive ship just jumped into the system. Be cautious on approach, they might not be friendly."

The ship caught the comm line, laughter erupted from the rebel ship that Karth sent the message to, a deep baritone voice low and some what raspy came over the line. "This is Damion Scott... We would gladly welcome you aboard, given your weapons are left in our armory of course. Just till we get you to our destination, your ship will be towed along.." Damion the leader of the Rebel Alliance came himself. He was ready for war, and he was willing to wage it. "I will come aboard personally to help board you to this decadent ship I like to call Taren..." If anyone knew Dami personally... Or atleast knew his species which few did... They would understand the name.

He would wait for a reply. The shields and weapons ready if needed. He would Stare at the console waiting for an reply. He looked to his crew, the Marines on deck standing blasters ready. A few of the control people scrambling to do their jobs. He would then nod "Prep the boarding tube..Don't initiate boarding yet however..." He made clear to them. He then looked back to the console. "So what will it be captain Vashok?" He said kindly as he had his hands doubled behind his back. The rebel ship ready for a surprise attack of course.

The captain of the Solus Verde released a breath that he didn't know he had been holding when the laughter crackled in over the comm channel. Beginning to power down the weapon systems (which garnered a mechanical "aawwwww" from his co-pilot at the navigation console), he rose up from the chair and checked the oxygen still in his suit - still over ten hours. These guys were on the ball, to say the least. By the time he turned around, he was face to face with Vex, who was now bristelling with every single weapon in his arsonal. Flame throwers were extended from their wrist compartments, his DXR6 Heavy Carbine held in one hand, his E-15A with Grenade Launcher attachment in the other. Over one shoulder a massive portable missile launcher was attached to it's custom modification points, and over the other shoulder was slung his heavy blaster rifle. To top it off, grenades, detonators and proton grenades hung around his belt. He truly looked like he was going to war, and his eyes had changed from the yellowish orange to blazing red.

"Captain Scott, I appreciate the offer to join you on the Taren - quite the vessel, might I add. As much as I like floating around out here, I don't really look forward to what would happen if my oxygen ran out before we got to your destination. I am leaving a droid behind to continue minor repairs while en-route. He's got enough ordinance on him right now to equip a small merc army, but don't you or your men be alarmed. He won't be attacking anyone today." Yet another 'Awwww', this one that would sound through the comm. "He was hoping you would be the Imperial Flagship. I think he intends to harpoon the Sith Emperess someday." he said with a light laugh. Making his way back into the cargo bay where the docking hatch was, he called up through the ship's comms "Alright, I'm ready on my end." Behind him, the tank of a droid positioned himself in clear view of anyone on the other side.

"Vex, once I'm gone, send a message to the Wookiee pilot en-route. Inform him that the cruiser is an Alliance vessel and we will be docking with them until further notice."

The droid's message would be as follows:

Dear Wookiee Pilot,

The ship is with the Rebel Alliance.

Go find some Imperials somewhere else, if you're looking to fight. Otherwise, feel free to come onboard.

"Sir, we have a signal. It is a distress call."

Instantly Kael was by the comm officer's side, looking over he shoulder at the screen. "Is it the Ardent Way?"

"No, sir. It is another ship. It says that they have only 3 hours of air left. If we left now, we could be there in 1 hour." The Communications Officer looked up at Kael. "What are your orders sir?"

Kael stepped back, deep in thought. He wanted to wait for Merrick, but if this other ship was in trouble, he couldn't just ignore it. He looked up, suddenly aware that the bridge had gone quiet.

"Helm, set course for the distress signal, but do not respond. It could be a trap and we are in no condition to fight a slugging match. Bring us to the edge of sensor range of the ship, but no closer.

"Weapons, get the crew to their guns and have shields ready to go as soon as we drop from hyperspace. I want us hot and ready."

The bridge was suddenly a riot of activity as the crew complied with orders. The bow of the ship turned on its axis, causing the space outside to rotate in front of them. Moments later, the stars elongated as the Valorous jumped to Warp.

Kael went back to his command chair and sat down. Quietly, he was alone with his thoughts. "I'm sorry Merrick. I'll find you soon.", he thought. The vision of her filled his mind. Even now he could see her shimmering blue eyes and blonde hair. She also had a smile that could melt a Sith's heart... and a mischevious streak that got her and him into trouble when they were little. Even after the Jedi Training, Kael was sure that she hadn't lost it.

It would be an hour until he was at the coordinates, just enough time for Kael to get some exercise.

"Zeke, you're in charge until I get back. Comm me when we are within 10 minutes of the location."

"Aye sir."

Kael left the bridge, heading toward the aft cargo bay. That is where an impromptu sparring area had been set up. It would do his some to go fight and get some of his aggression out.

Adamos recieved both messages his ship was on route towards the distress calls coordinates, turning his ship around directed it back to Nar Shaddaa, his transmission to Vex.

You are in good hands with the Rebel Alliance, however going up against a Imperial is not my cup of tea at the moment. Us Wookiees are not that crazy. Good luck, and stay safe, feel free to contact me anytime. Along with the message, the Wookiees contact information is attached.

Severice had been looking for his padawan when he picked up the distress call and the snub fighter that was attached to the hyper space ring jumped into hyperspace and came out to see the rebel flagship. He sighed and opened up the com line to the Flag ship. "This is Jedi knight severice to Rebel command. Permission to dock" He looked around as the Jedi star fighter detatched from the hyperspace ring. He had no luck in tracking down his padawan other then some communication through the force. He sighed and kept the comm lines open. He looked around the damaged ship that sent the distress call. If the captian looked on the side of the fighters hall the sign of the Jedi order could be seen as the ship drifted awaiting the go ahead from the rebel flag ship.

The Valorous dropped out of hyperspace a good distance from the Rebel Flagship. Kael stood there watching the sensors, having been called back to the bridge 15 minutes ago. He was still sweaty from his sparring in the cargo bay and didn't have time to change.

"Hold here helm and ready jump coordinates bound for deep space. Tactical, ready weapons and shields. If we can't escape, we may have to play on their on field. Ready the fighters... just in case. Sensors, what do you have?"

It was just a second as the sensors scanned the ship.

"Sir, it looks to be the Rebel Flagship. Shall we contact it?"

"By all means, open a channel."

The Communications Officer pushed a few buttons and the nodded, indicating that it was open.

==:: This is Captain Rhinn Vharen of the Valorous, requesting to speak with Admiral Scott of the Taren ::==

Kael waited for a response from his Commanding Officer.

Damion would nod to Karth. "Not a problem. As he heard a comm expert speak up "Allow the jedi to dock. Open a channel with the Valorous." He then looked to Karth again "He will have to wait in line..." About the empress. He then turned to the Comm Screen. "Go ahead Captain." Said to the Valorous. He had his white robes around him... Jedi Master and commander of the entire Rebel Alliance. He stared to the view screen his blue eyes glowing wildly. Shoulder length brown hair covering his ears. He would wait for a reply. The bussle of the Taren was not as loud as you would think. And the ship was not as noisy as most smaller ships let alone a larger one. He would stand with his hands behind his back.

He stared to the screen for a moment before he would wave a hand to a man approaching. "Not now...Come back in a moment..." He told the man politely who nodded and saluted. Then shuffled away. Dami stayed focused. He was tall. 6'3 and heavy, 239 lbs of muscle. His elegant white robes a sign of allegiance of the lightside. His saber on his hip a haunting hilt. Almost evil looking. Quite a contrast. Dami was famous. He defeated the DP before. Defeated the entire Kie race alone... Twice... He saved many lives. He was the youngest master. And a weaponsmaster at that. Once a guardian..One of the few considered a true guardian. He faced several sith lords. Only defeated by one of them... He had a impressive resumes. And that was just the start.

Severice got the go ahead to land in the flag ship. He fired up the engines and made his way to the docking bay before setting his fighter down. Severice cracked his neck a little bit, before unbuckleing from the harness and opened the canopy of the fighter. He stood up and hopped off the wing of the fighter his brown robes belowed as he landed. His feet touched without a sound as he walked up to the Bridge. Once there he stepped up to Dami and stood beside him. "Busy day master Scott?" he asked. He did not know what happened to the ship that sent the destress call. But he needed to refuel so he could get back to his mission. He had told the hanger crew what he needed. This was a pit stop, while he searched for his padawan.

Karth lifted his arms up, bringing them into a cross over his chest as he waited for the boarding ramp to connect. The hiss of pressurization sounded out, and then the hatch opened up to allow him entrance into the pressurization chamber beyond. It would be necessary to pump some atmosphere into the boarding ramp before opening it up to the rest of the ship's interior, otherwise opening it would cause quite a bit of discomfort for the men and women within the ship. Therefore, he strode deftly into the chamber and closed the hatch to his ship behind him, waiting patiently for the atmosphere to be pumped in. A light chime in the computer system signaled to him he could remove his helmet, and he did so happily. "That's better." The door at the other end of the ramp swished open and he got his first view of the interior of the illustrious Rebel Flagship.

As he stepped into the hall of the flagship, his comm unit chimed. "Captain..." his droid piped up. "...another cruiser has jumped from hyperspace. Looks like an old Imperial cruiser. Shall I open fire?" Karth chuckled, shaking his head back and fourth. "No Vex, something tells me Admiral Scott would have torn them to pieces by now. If they are on our side, we've got a nice little fleet going here. About time the Rebels got their act together..." He said, bringing his comm unit right up to his lips and murmuring it under his voice so none of the ship's nearby crew would hear. Looking up to them, he addressed them. "Thank's for the rescue. I'd like to speak to the Admiral in person, if you could direct me towards the Bridge."

"Go ahead Captain."

Kael nodded to his helmsmen to bring the Valorous in closer. As soon as he heard the voice and saw the Jedi, he knew who he was dealing with.

"I was responding to the distress call, but I see that they are well taken care of." Kael smiled a bit and then his face grew serious. "The previous assignment was to deliver weapons and supplies to the Ardent Way. We were jumped by the Admonisher and the Requiem before I could complete my delivery. The Ardent Way jumped out and we blind jumped, but have not heard from the ship. It is possible that we have enemy forces on the move along the Permelian Trade Route."

Severice looked over at master Scott for a moment since he just arrived on the bridge before the transmission was recieved. He didn't want to over step his bounds since Scott was the leader here. "It is a possibitlity, The Empire has grown more bold and suspect many more people of harboring the Jedi." He lowered his head a little bit but kept his eyes on the screen. "Seeing as your ships are not of the Empire, they may have thought you where one of these people. But that is just speculation at this point." He moved his shoulders a little bit to fix the long flowing dark brown cloak that covered his Jedi outfit. "How long has it been since you where seperated from this other ship?" He asked just to get a better understanding of the situation.
