Senator Jason Ferulos stepped up now. A stern expression on the Tarentrian warrior/senators face. "I believe he fears the jedi... He makes every attempt he can to hinder them... However... I some what agree, Jedi are to be held at a higher standard than the rest ogf the galaxy. Thus perhaps they should be punished... But Senator... Can you feel the force? Can you sense another life? Tell me... Do you know how it feels to be blind? Or deaf? How about.. Both? To be cut off from everything? Tell me, what would be the punishment should a jedi use the force to say, defuse a situation in a uncustomary way? Say, hypothetically, I were to go insane... How many of you have fought a Tarentrian? Let me answer that for you... No you have not, you are still alive..." Jason would start pacing back and forth as he explained. "My people are naturally touched by the force... No Tarentrian has ever been born untouched by the force, unlike the jedi however we are trained to fight, to kill... And unlike the sith we are trained in honor and nobility... We are some where closer to jedi usually... We do not go around killing for fun... Usually, but my point is, conventional ways? They would not stop an bloodraging Tarentrian... You see, many of the mind abilities to relax us would not work if we were in that state... So tell me... How do you sto a beast with out killing it if you are bounded by the rules a people who know nothing about the situation have set upon you..."
He shook his head. "But, jedi who abuse their powers are not true jedi either... Remember they are bound by a code... Tell me senator... Do you know the code of the jedi?" Jason was more diplomatic than before, and it seemed Darlarkin knew little of the jedi... Or the fact that it was a jedi master that was leading them to victory against the empire... Jason would rest his hands behind his back. "Tell me Senator... Would you interfere with my peoples ways? Simply because you think it to be a misuse of the force?
