| Lazaruth Chambers, captain of the Foxtrot Victory, was not one to spook easily or jump to conclusions. He had served with Ajax throughout the Clone Wars, commanding the luxury yacht turned battle frigate alongside Republic cruisers, and before that had been pilot to Senator Flint senior, Ajax Flint's father. One was not given a position without being calm and collective in the most trying of situations. Therefore, it was to be taken all the more seriously when the captain went storming through the Alderaan Senate Complex on a war path in full combat armor trailing a group of Senate Guards who he was refusing to speak to. There was only one thing that could send Captain Chambers into such a state: a missing Senator. With long determined strides he made his way along the hallway that circled around the second level of the Senate Hall. A sudden left turn brought him through a set of doors and out into the Senate Hall itself, standing on the pod designated for the Senator of Talus. The small crowd he had been accumulating held off save for one, who moved forward to place a hand on Captain Chambers' shoulder. "Captain, whatever the problem is, you need to let us in on -" Chambers lifted a hand up show he wanted to get a word in edgewise. "I'll explain, but this is something the Senators should hear." He turned on the holorecorder in the pod and patched the signal through to the Senate Complex' closed holonet so that Senators not present could still hear. "Ladies and Gentleman of the Senate, I have news that may interest you. Senator Ajax Flint has gone missing. Last sightings of him are in the company of unidentified strangers on the Senate Grounds, and then in orbit where cleaning droids responsible for removing debris from starship hulls recorded the Senator in the hangar of an unidentified starship which left the system shortly after. He was not restrained, but I fear that the Senator may be thinking he can use his capture as a way to gain information about our enemies. That or he has some dillusion that had he not gone, one of you might have been taken in his place." The captain straightened up to full height, lifting his gaze from the recorder to look out around the Senate Hall. "Time after time again Senator Flint has put himself in danger to protect this Senate. I'm not about to let him martyr himself for that. I have no power over this Senate, and sure, the goods of the many outweigh the goods of the few, so you can do whatever you want. I'm going after him, since it's what he would do for me, and any of you." He turned around, showing his back to the Senate Hall. Under his breath, he muttered "By the Force, first person to accuse him of leaving on purpose 'cause he's some sort of traitor is going to be an ex-senator real quick." He heard of the problems caused by Ajax Flint stepping down, and he wasn't about to put up with that sort of trash talk while Flint wasn't even here to defend himself.

| Brander sat in his pod in disbelief, on the news Senator Flint missing, it was bad enough Senator Darlarkin accused Senator Flint of criminal crime's, and wanting to call a proposal banning of the rebel alliance out them crimials, thank the force that proposal has not been brought up yet: Brander may as well commit suicide the Senate couldn't stay stable since the Sith Twin's had attacked. He stood rather quickly in his pod, to address the Senate: "I ask for a emergency meeting do the current state of Senator Flint, and if no one minds I want to contact the Jedi Order": If anyone protested it, Brander would argue it:

| Senator Jason Ferulos rose. He would speak in the chambers for the first time. "The jedi and the rebels, as I have heard a jedi master is leading the rebels, a jedi master that has proven himself repeatedly. I think if anyone should be called it should be the jedi in question and his allies... I do not thank Senator Flint a coward to flee... I think this could bad..." He glared to the new senator Darlarkin as if daring the man to protest. Jason was a Tarentrian... He would kill the man on the spot with out hesitation or fear of consequence. Flint was a friend of Jasons as well.. So trashing the man infront of Jason was not wise.

| Darlarkin raised a graying brow, whats this Mr Flint missing! how poetic! his expressionless mask showed no remorse, he drummed his long fingers on the arm rest of his chair. "Senators a reminder! this is a senate not the Jedi council, the Jedi have no business here, they cant however defend themselfs. More evidence besides a holorecorder is needed, more proof Mr Flint is actually missing. He looked Mr Ferulos directly in the eye challenging him.

| Brander clinched his fist, ready to punch Senator Darlarken in the jaw: refrained himself: "Senator Darlarkin I presented the proposal in bringing the Jedi Order in, the motion seconded by Senator Ferulos": "Senator Ferulos please contact the Jedi Master you presented and his allies, we have to meet with him soon as possible, in the mean time I would like to call a short recess": Brander gave a smug look to Senator Darlarkin:

| Looked to Darlarkin his eyes firey glowing silver with golden flecks. "You want to keep the jedi out of this? Why is that? Do you fear them? Have you a personal grudge against them? Or perhaps could it be a grudge to the senator Flint himself eh?" Jason smirked "Tell me Senator... Have you ever seen the military the Republic has? It is most unimpressive at the moment..We will take all the help we can get. Even be from the jedi and rebels." He said clearly. "Or perhaps you just don't want senator Flint found? If we have a message saying he is gone...I would rather find him as fast as we can...Instead of wasting time in an investigation... Dallying is exactly what will destroy this senate.. A lack of action. We can NOT lay back and let the galaxy unfold just because you think an investigation is necessary.. Are you willing to take the blame if he is killed because we wasted time?" He looked to Brandor as he said a recess was in order "And the jedi I have in mind is as said the leader of the rebel alliance...Damion Scott... He can more than handle himself and anything thrown at him" He eyed Darlarkin. A smug smirk on his face. "I do hope you aren't going to waste time here..." Jason had no problem raising a investigation on Darlarkin to see the mans origins. He rightly didn't trust the man. Jason would rest his hands on his arm rest calmly sitting and sipping his water. His saber still as always on his hip. He was a warrior by birth.

| Brander Smirked, good thing Senator Darlarkin left, the old goat was getting on his nerves, and by the looks of it Senator Ferulos too, at least the trouble maker bowed out and departed. Brander would do a back ground check on Senator Darlarkin later, right now they had to find Senator Flint, that was important critcal. He glanced to Senator Ferulos, "how long do you think it would take to get Damion Scott here" he asked, and glanced to Alex "Alex of course your welcome to contact Severice, and his padawan". The faster they could get a Jedi here all the better, to hopefully find Senator Flint quickly case his life was on the line:

| The captain remained in the room long enough to hear the Senators begin their discussion of the matter, and to be honest to himself he was surprised that there was support for finding Ajax promptly, regardless of if he got captured on purpose or not. Still, there were quips made that caused the captain to seeth inwardly. He was no Jedi, he had no problem feeling rage when someone questioned his word and that of a holorecording showing it. If that old fool wanted more evidence, try the security tapes showing Flint's initial meeting with the pair that escourted him to the Sith ship, or the starport cameras showing Flint boarding the shuttle that took him into space. There was plenty of evidence if someone was not purposly trying to conceal the truth. It just reinforced the belief that Lazaruth had that the Senate was as divided and mixed up as before the war. If it wasn't for his close friendship with Senator Flint, he would be out fighting with the Republic. Once the recess was called, he made his way out into the hallway, pushing through the throng of Senate troops gathered there to escourt him back to his ship. It was time to go do something useful. That and if he stayed any longer, he was putting lives in danger, namely those of men like Darlarkin who seemed hellbent on bringing the Senate to it's knees, not restoring it to it's former 'glory' it had during the days of the Republic. If anyone wished to speak to him, they would have to intercept him en-route. Otherwise, they would know to contact him on the Foxtrot Victory.
