Planet Name: Desphair

Size: Normal sized planet, roughly the size of the Earth.

Attributes: Completes 1 revolution around it's sun every 400 galactic days. Completes 1 rotation every 32 hours. Has a circular orbit around it's sun which results in only one season which is a mix between spring and summer (humid, lots of rain, hot temperatures). Low Gravity. No Moon.

Calendar: 10, 40 day months make up the year.

Terrain: Lush rainforests with tall thick trees and deep blue oceans. %60 of the terrain is land, with the rest being water. Contains Two large continents, 1 in the northern hemisphere, the other in the southern. Numerous smaller islands dot the oceans.

Gravities effect on Gekks: Due to a reletivley low gravity, Gekks can lifts objects too heavy for most humans, they can jump higher and have higher agility. But on planets with Earth like gravity they are no stronger or agile then the average human.

Weather: Rainfall can last for weeks at a time and it rains 8 out of the 10 months each year. When it is not raining it is humid and temperature ranges from 80 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Minerals: Mining is one of Desphair's biggest businesses, with vast crystal mines and other minerals. One unique crystal they sell are the crystals used in lightsabers. They feel their presence is what causes Force Users to be born on the world and have no problem selling them to whoever cares to buy them.

Unique Crystal: named after the planet by outsiders, the Desphair crystal is very rare and has a unique property when used in a lightsaber. Based upon the amount of force energy in the area, the crystal changes color and the color of the Lightsaber's blade. No Force Energy Colorless and Transparent, Low Force Energy (lone Jedi) Light Blue, Moderate Force Energy Green-Orange-Yellow, High Force Energy Red.

Imperial Facility: Secret shipyard in the mountains of Desphair capable of building warships and fighters, has necessary equipment to supply the ships. Also has small factories for manufacturing weapons and armor for soldiers, but production is smaller then normal factories on Imperial worlds. The facility has a small amount of Turbo Lasers for defense, and receives supplies every few months.

Current Status: Liberated by Desphen Freedom Fighters and Imperial Defectors. Empire is unaware. The Defectors keep up the Ruse that it is an Imperial facility and continues to manufacture Imperial equipment.

Rebel Outpost: Located in the Southern Jungles of Desphair, a damaged Corellian Corvette Patrol was left stranded on the planet, with no means of contacting the Rebellion they converted their 3 ships into a makeshift outpost, even with working comm equipment and radar, they lake sufficient power to contact ships in orbit or even other planets. They consider themselves the unofficial Rebel Base for Desphair.
