Rory_Silverlight_ was in the training area doing exercises. Some she had learned at home and a few she had learned here. She had found a body suit that fit snuggly to her form and allowed for intricate moves. Alton_Yates smiled to a group of other jedi as he moved through the halls finally entering the training area having put on a simple outfit having planned to get some practice but all thoughts of a workout went right out of his mind as his eyes fell on Rory and he couldn't help be blush a little red almost adverting his eyes when she bent down..but they never >

Rory_Silverlight_ stretched to her limits and then beyond them feeling eyes on her that were not just watching her motions and caculating what she was doing....she slipped her foot and fell over using her hands to break her fall...she looked up after landing on the mat to see who was looking her way. There were still quite a few in the training area that she could>
Rory_Silverlight_ not figure out where the glance was coming from.
Alton_Yates continued to watch her and began to move forward reaching out into the force a bit as well. He was in a loose fitting track outfit with a belt that held his lightsaber. A white towel hung on his shoulder casually as he moved forward a bit probably blending into the crowd

Alton_Yates has returned.
Rory_Silverlight_ sat up and caught her breath as she looked further for the one that had seemed to be watching her. She waved off help and figured that she had done enough and began to stretch her muscles to cool off.
Alton_Yates moved out of the crowd and headed towards her. "Rory.." he called over. "Have a good work out?" he asked as he moved to make his way towards her wondering if something was bothering her
Rory_Silverlight_ was leaning to touch her toes and nodded as she breathed thru the cool down.
Alton_Yates watched her for a moment and moved to take a position next to her beginning similar stretches in a manner to warm himself up.
Rory_Silverlight_ : So how are you?
Alton_Yates "Not bad and yourself?" he asked stretching out his leg and arm muscles. "If you have some time..perhaps you would like some lessons on that lightsaber I gave you?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : Sure...I got time ...
Alton_Yates smiled a bit at that and then motioned over to another part of the training area. "If you have it with you we can proceed..otherwise well just grab a pair of training sabers."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Are you not going to exercise some?
Alton_Yates : "I am but probably after ward..I was coming to practice with my lightsaber primarily anyways."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Oh?
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Yes I try to keep practiced. To remain sharp."
Rory_Silverlight_ : That is good...Like me reading a lot.
Alton_Yates "Exactly." he said beginning to head in the direction of the sparring area.
Rory_Silverlight_ finished stretching and got up and followed him.
Alton_Yates as he reached the ring he moved to the center turning to face her as he drew the hilt. "Be sure to make sure it is in sparring mode." he said showing her on his lightsaber where it was and how to switch it over
Rory_Silverlight_ had gotten a training sabre and met him in the center of the ring and nodded at his instruction.
Alton_Yates took a deep breath and activated his lightsaber. "Assume a stance and we can begin."
Rory_Silverlight_ followed his words and activated her sabre and took a stance...right foot in front of her and left foot behind.
Alton_Yates held his lightsaber loosely at his side though he shifted his weight a bit before springing towards her his saber slashing from her left to right aiming for the shoulder to, if it were fully powered, go from shoulder to shoulder
Rory_Silverlight_ : I love my sister but she talks the ear off....)
Alton_Yates : heh
Rory_Silverlight_ jumped back at his advance bringing up her sabre to act as a block to his attack,
Alton_Yates smiled a bit as she blocked his strike but he moved to spin away leaping over her to come in from behind going in the opposite direction of the first strike
Rory_Silverlight_ felt his change in direction and then his spin and leap as he flipped over her landing behind. She turned to meet his attack if he did so....
Alton_Yates smiled a bit before driving in towards her moving to hook a leg around one of her shins before aiming to press her over it and drive her to the mat
Rory_Silverlight_ saw his move and started to move out of his way but was caught by his leg when she did not see it....she fell on her back.
Alton_Yates followed her down to the mat and moved to quickly pin her down deactivating his saber and moving to tap her with it. If successful he would move to rise up offering her a hand up. "Apologies for the move..but I wanted to illustrate you have more than your lightsaber..and you should always try to use what you have."
Rory_Silverlight_ felt the tap and took his hand to get up...."Maybe I need some lessons in other ways of combat?"
Alton_Yates nodded a bit and deactivating his lightsaber and tossed the hilt over next to his towel. "Alright then..lets start with basics? If you had to fight show me how you would prepare yourself?"
Rory_Silverlight_ returned her sabre to the stand and then listened as he spoke. She tilted her head to the side and then the other after he asked how she would prepare....first off she would be using her sense to help her....she took what she thought was a defensive stance...feet apart, arms at the ready...one in front of her and the other at the side.
Alton_Yates gave her a quick appraisal and moved forward. "Alright just a few adjustments." he said turning to stand behind her reaching to place his hands on her form shifting her around a little bit here and there making what would seem like minor adjustments explaining each one as he went before he moved back. "Well go slow at first so you can get the idea.
Rory_Silverlight_ felt him behind her changing her stance, placement of arms and even her feet to his liking and then he told her as finished that they would go slow...."Alright.'
Alton_Yates "Now what you want to do when fighting hand to hand is use economy of movement and never meet an opponent head on even if you are stronger than they are.." he said moving forward. "Always try to deflect rather than outright block. And if you can strike in close. Use your elbows and knees to drive home attacks."
Rory_Silverlight_ nods getting an idea of what he is saying...."Alright..."
Alton_Yates "Now..for the most part..people you are going to face are typically untrained..however that isn't to say you aren't going to face trained individuals.." he said stepping in towards her bringing his arm forward as if he were throwing a punch but with exaggerated slow movements explaining the proper way to block such a strike and how to counter it.
Rory_Silverlight_ listened with an intense expression absorbing it and as he moved towards her to act as if tossing a punch her way she moved an arm up to block and at the same time used her other hand to start a jab towards his stomach.
Alton_Yates grunted as she hit him in the stomach and stepped away. "Very good..now on this next one I am going to put some force behind it. I want you to duck under it and pull forward on my arm while driving back into me. If done correctly you should be able to throw me to the ground. And the first one on the ground in a fight is usually the loser."
Rory_Silverlight_ : I am game...
Alton_Yates "Alright then here we go.." he said moving towards her and throwing the punch with his weight behind it almost wanting to brace himself for this

Rory_Silverlight_ followed through on his instruction going right under his punch and took a hold of his arm and pushed forward into him to push or toss him to the ground.

Alton_Yates felt his feet leave the ground and spread his body out trying to keep his head up as he slammed into the mat and felt the air forced from his lungs. "Good job." he said looking up at her
Rory_Silverlight_ grinned at him in response to that...."I did not know I could do that.'
Alton_Yates smiled back at her before forcing himself up. "It's basic physics..I have momentum and am putting weight on a certain point..you create a fulcrum and are able then to throw an attacker to the ground with less force. And to someone who isn't expecting it you can immediately take the advantage of a fight..We'll do it again but this time I want you >
Alton_Yates to follow through and attack as soon as I hit the ground..just..be gentle" he said with a little joke in there and stepped back coming in again
Rory_Silverlight_ : Gentle? I thought you could take a hit?
Alton_Yates smiled a bit. "Oh I can.." he said coming in again and once again swinging at her reading to take the fall again
Rory_Silverlight_ followed through like she had before to send him to the floor...and she would bring a foot to his stomach though she would not actually make the hit hard.
Alton_Yates let the air out and felt the kick to his stomach and reacted quickly moving to grab a hold of her legs and aimed to pull them out from under her before scrambling to pin her to the mat if successful
Rory_Silverlight_ felt the touch of fingers on her foot and went to move out of his way not soon enough. She felt her balance go before she fell backwards landing on her back....
Alton_Yates moved quickly to jump towards her aiming to lift one of her legs up towards her chest while aiming to press down on the arm on the side pinning her down if allowed
Rory_Silverlight_ was not quick enough to fight back as he got her pinned down...she was breathing harder now...
Alton_Yates slowly released her and rose moving to help her to her feet once more. "You don't need to shift your weight. A better option for most would have been to fall on the stomach with your knees and drive in at the head with your elbow. Effective and you'd be able to move on with less risk to yourself
Rory_Silverlight_ nods as she works on catching her breath...."I never have had this kind of thing....before.'

Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "I understand..just one more lesson with this." he said moving towards her and moved around behind her. "The average male humanoid has four places of weakness to exploit if you are attacked." he said softly.

Rory_Silverlight_ stood in a relaxed stance for now as he came around behind her..."I can tell you one for sure...'
Alton_Yates whimpered a bit as she said that. "Yes and it is effective." he said reaching to grab her from behind. "Now if you find yourself in a position of needing to fend off someone like this those four places are the best to attack. They are the Solar Plexus, instep, nose, and groin."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Solar Plexis?
Alton_Yates : "It is a spot about two to three inches above the navel."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Elbow shot?
Alton_Yates : "That would be your best bet,"
Rory_Silverlight_ jabbed back with her elbow without warning just enough to cause him to catch his breath but not to hurt.
Alton_Yates let out the air in his lungs as she jabbed him with her elbow. "Instep is on the foot the bony top part."
Rory_Silverlight_ nods and he would feel that...she just placed her foot on top of his with a slight bit of pressure...
Alton_Yates "It is here if not earlier that most would release you." he said letting her go. "Then you would turn around and strike at the nose before going in to knee the groin. While it may not stop some it will give you a chance to get away."
Rory_Silverlight_ nodded but turned her back to him once again..."but I can take my hand and hit the nose with the backside of the hand....I can bend the knee and kick the groin with the heel...and maybe get the other foot as well...." She placed her feet in the right places, the back of her hand up next to his nose and her heel..well...that stopped at his knee..>
Rory_Silverlight_ just to prove a point.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "It would work..but the point is to disable or stun your attacker and then to get away. We will work on your offensive abilities if you wish..but I just wanted you to be able to defend yourself."
Rory_Silverlight_ turned again to face him..."Maybe another time? I want to cool down and get something to eat...I am starving."
Alton_Yates "That is what I meant..we don't want to overdo your training..a few things at a time." he said walking over and picking up his towel and lightsaber. "Mind if I join you?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : You...can...but not the shower....
Alton_Yates turned a little bit red. "Oh..I didn't mean to imply..my apologies Rory." he stammered out a bit. "I meant for the food..actually I'm just going to stop since I'm putting my foot in my mouth."
Rory_Silverlight_ had turned red as well...."Food...is good...."
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Well I will let you go get your shower and I'll meet you in the messhall?" he asked his ears burning
Rory_Silverlight_ nods quietly and turns heading the girls locker rooms....her form still covered in the body suit.
Alton_Yates watched her go as he turned to head to the mens locker room to wash his face before heading to the messhall
Rory_Silverlight_ showered and changed quickly enough...still uncertain who had watched her. She had her suspicions now. She walked out of the locker room and headed to the mess hall.
Alton_Yates Had only stumbled across her practicing but now after washing his face he headed to the messhall getting them both something before setting up at a table and waiting.
Rory_Silverlight_ walked into the mess hall and looked around for Alton and soon finding him. She waved in his direction and began to move around tables and people to get to the table.
Alton_Yates looked up and saw her waving and returned the wave rising up as she made her way over. "I took the liberty of getting you a tray and a drink. I didn't know what you'd want so I got you some water and a fruit drink."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Thank you....I was going to get some soup and salad.
Alton_Yates nodded and pushed the trey towards her. "I got the soup but I didn't think to get a salad." he said offering an apologetic smile.
Rory_Silverlight_ smiled at him, "That is okay, you do not know me that well yet."
Alton_Yates nodded. "That is true.." he said softly. "If you'd like I will go get you a salad."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Alright...please.
Alton_Yates nodded and rose heading in the direction of the salad bar quietly.
Rory_Silverlight_ watched him go to get her a salad....then it hit her....he had been the one watching in a sense other than calculating her moves.
Alton_Yates as he arrived at the bar he moved to compose the salad for her placing a couple different dressings in little cups to the side before returning to the table to place the salad infront of her
Rory_Silverlight_ : You are a saint....
Rory_Silverlight_ looked at him as she said that with a smile.
Alton_Yates blinked looking at her for a moment. "I am?" he asked tilting his head a bit. "How, am I a saint?" he asked a little surprised at the compliment shaking it off. "Thank you though.."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Its a compliment. You are nice. Caring. Considerate.
Alton_Yates turned a little red his ears burning. "Thank you Rory." he said abashed at the compliment.
Rory_Silverlight_ smiled looking down...at her salad..."This looks good."
Alton_Yates "I hope it is." he said smiling a little bit as he pulled his own trey over to him.
Rory_Silverlight_ started to eat the salad and then tried some of the soup. She gazed at him as he ate and decided to speak of other things..."I am finding more entries for Nar Shadda.'
Alton_Yates had a grilled cheese and a soup similar to hers and nodded as she said that. "I have as well. Have you found any region on Nar Shaada? Anything we can use to track where it keeps going?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : That part is still a blank. I just have to dig further. You find much else?
Alton_Yates : "A few things of interest..but im not sure what I have to go on."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Want to compare notes?
Alton_Yates nodded. "Alright..but you know you can pull up everything I've found right?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : I thought maybe we could discuss it...sometimes just reading things is not enough....somehow conversation can even spark an idea.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Alright..that sounds like a good idea to me..maybe we can come across something by speaking together about it."
Rory_Silverlight_ agreed with a slight incline of her head as she finished the soup and then finished off her salad.
Alton_Yates finished off his sandwich and soup quickly before setting it aside. "Alright what do you have?"
Rory_Silverlight_ pulled out a datapad and showed him what she had found in the other trips that went to Nar Shadda. She pointed out dates that showed a trip every other month now rather than every six months or sparadic. She went over the log and crew....and then showed him the footnotes which made no sense.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit and pulled out the datapad he had correlating the books to what she was talking about showing where they moved in similar ways together. "If only we knew where we could head to Nar Shaada to investiga..." he trailed off mid word his eyes lighting up as he moved to rise and rush off quickly
Rory_Silverlight_ watched him as he moved off quickly wondering what she had said....
Alton_Yates returned quickly and grabbed his trey and checked something on her datapad with a smile before hurrying off again dropping the trey in the trash can on his way
Rory_Silverlight_ shook her head a bit watching him...it almost seemed like he was going nuts...
Alton_Yates stopped at a terminal and began to pull up data and motioned her over towards him excitedly like he was on to something.
Rory_Silverlight_ got up and went over to see what all this was about not sure what to think about it.
Alton_Yates looked over at her. "I think I may have a way to narrow down where on Nar Shaada we will have to go."
Rory_Silverlight_ : How?
Alton_Yates "The ship itself." he said looking at her pointing to some of the ship IDs on her datapad. "The trips of most ships are recorded..including their arrival and departures."
Rory_Silverlight_ : There was nothing noted to that in the files I have looked at.
Alton_Yates : "Of course..but thats the part..we aren't using journals..we are pulling up planetary records."
Rory_Silverlight_ : But we both know that if they want to keep it a secret they can forge the documents.

Alton_Yates looked over the list using a search feature. "Here.." he said pointing out the number. "It seems to be going to..." he frowned a bit. "Not sure where that is..but we have a general location to search."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Good, but I am not sure yet about going.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Alright we can hold off if you want to..try to do some more research..but I believe we have a way to detect the location."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Good...I want to know more of what was going on if we can decipher it.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "That seems like a possibility.." he said softly. "Ill work on seeing if I can narrow a location down moreso."

Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Do you need to go get some sleep?"
Rory_Silverlight_ nods her assent, "I did get up really early."
Alton_Yates smiled a bit. "Well then..would you like me to escort you back to your room?"
