Alton_Yates his own smile widened in time with hers. He was focused on making the right steps even if he was a novice..being a jedi certainly helped with being able to move easily. As they danced he found her eyes and focused on them

Rory_Silverlight_ kept her gaze locked with his as the danced. It was graceful enough and she did not feel his feet step on hers at all. The music lasted a while and then stopped changing to a bit quicker of a pace...being focused on him rather than the tunes changing she found herself stumbling and falling towards him.
Alton_Yates blinked surprised as the music changed and his hand left hers and ended up wrapped around her as she fell he was knocked back a bit but managed to catch her. "Are you alright there?" he asked looking down and over her
Rory_Silverlight_ moved back a bit after he caught her, "Sorry, I did not pay attention to the change in the music..." She had placed her hands on his upper chest, almost his shoulders. She kept her gaze sort of averted.
Alton_Yates couldn't help but smile even as he held onto her.."It is alright.." he whispered to her softly feeling her hands on his own chest and sighed softly. "We all stumble at some point..I'm just glad that I could catch you." he whispered
Rory_Silverlight_ looked up seeing his smile..."I am glad you did...falling on the floor would have hurt.." Not to mention embarressing as well. She did not know if she should move out of his hold or not.
Alton_Yates looked back meeting her gaze though unsure if he should release her or not...different, conflicting opinions raced through him as he thought it. He thought of saying something like not letting her get hurt but that would be the best he could offer. And ultimately he wasn't sure what else to say or do
Rory_Silverlight_ held her breath as he looked back at her. She could see the conflict running through his eyes as they just stood there. She finally looked away.

Alton_Yates leaned down. "Yes i did find that odd..after all that is typical Hutt territory." he said calmly looking over at the datapad. "But then again there are almost no smugglers which haven't been to Nar Shaada."

Alton_Yates slowly moved to rise a bit from his seat not sure what had happened earlier but guessing she hadn't noticed anything strange or didn't want to decided not to mention it. "Well I guess that we have a good deal of work to get on then."

Rory_Silverlight_ reached the datapad back towards him.
Alton_Yates slowly extended his hand out taking the datapad back from her when it was offered. "Well we have a lot to sift through in order to find out the truth..and I am sure that we will."
Rory_Silverlight_ placed the datapad in his hand and went to pull her hand away..."I am sure we will....unless father comes here first."

Alton_Yates nodded a bit letting her pull her hand away as he moved to fold the datapad back into the pocket of his robes quietly
Rory_Silverlight_ stood up and returned to her cot and sat down. She looked at him for a minute still wondering what had happened to them earlier.
Alton_Yates slowly moved to rise a bit from his seat not sure what had happened earlier but guessing she hadn't noticed anything strange or didn't want to decided not to mention it. "Well I guess that we have a good deal of work to get on then."
Rory_Silverlight_ nods a bit, "Yeah, we do. Alton...." she wanted to say something but she was not sure how to.
Alton_Yates looked over at her not sure if he should say something about it. "Thank you for the dance..and i hope we can find something soon."
Rory_Silverlight_ smiled a bit, "You are welcome....I think we found one thing already."
Alton_Yates : smiled back to her. "Indeed you did..and hopefully more will become apparent as we follow on that lead."
Rory_Silverlight_ : What happened just a while ago?
Rory_Silverlight_ had to ask. She did not hold back long but still she had to know what he thought.
Alton_Yates looked back at her and turned a little bit red. "I am not sure.." he admitted. "I..have never had anything like that before."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Me either...
Alton_Yates : "I..enjoy your company and hope that does not prevent more of it..."
Rory_Silverlight_ : I enjoy yours too...and I hope it does not prevent it...
Alton_Yates smiled a bit. "Then it will not.." he said looking back at her and moved over towards her gently. "What..if I may ask do you believe it was?" he asked looking for input about it since he wasn't sure what to think
Rory_Silverlight_ : Maybe a connection....I am not sure. But maybe we should not question it to death and just see what happens...where things go....
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "I think so..I would like to see where it goes myself." he admitted. "And I'm sorry..it is just my nature to inquire..to seek answers."
Rory_Silverlight_ : And remember I am curious....I will ask as well.
Alton_Yates reached down to gently place a hand on hers. "Then we will both be seeking answers."
Rory_Silverlight_ felt his hand's warmth as he lay it over hers, "I am ever looking for them."
Alton_Yates took a moment before slowly moving to retreat unsure what else he should do. "Well then I look forward to the search..I should probably retire for the night though."
Rory_Silverlight_ : As I should as well....I think Master Spar wanted to see me sometime in the morning.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Well sleep well Rory..and may the force be with you." he said moving to bow as he reached for the handle to the door to slip on outside

Alton_Yates "Good night." he said slipping out of the door and closing it behind him shaking his head once out in the hall thinking he should have said something different..anything perhaps. What it was he didn't know and he mentally mocked himself for being silly

Rory_Silverlight_ sat in the gardens against a tree with her legs up and arms wrapped around them looking as if she was in deep thought but was really just watching the plants around her....
Alton_Yates closed his eyes as he rested a bit his legs stretched out on the branch with a slight grin as he resting his head back against the bark. He had taken up his spot in the gardens a while back to clear his head a bit. In his lap rested a datapad which he was focused on not even noticing who else was int he gardens
Rory_Silverlight_ leaning back a bit she looked up into the branches of the tree and saw someone there but could not see who it was....she narrowed her glance...full grown person at least....."Hey up there!"
Alton_Yates blinked as he heard Rory's voice and shifted leaning over the edge of the branch a bit and smiled seeing her before rising up to his feet and jumping off with a small little hop. He'd concentrated on the force slowing his descent to land next to her. "Hey down here."
Rory_Silverlight_ blinked as he descended down next to her..."THat...was awsome...how did you do that?"

Alton_Yates : "Well I can teach you to use the force but I can't officially take you on as my student unless you join."

Alton_Yates "Well it is a good place to have a seat." he said with a soft smile. "And its quiet up there unlike some places..no one ever thinks to look up."

Alton_Yates "Quite sure." he said with a nod and a slight bow. "I have been to your quarters perhaps you would like to go to mine instead?"

Alton_Yates : "I do not see why not..I am free to visit yours why would you be forbidden to visit mine?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : Was not sure the protocol with Jedi....
Alton_Yates "From what I have seen thus far on haven I doubt the protocols are more than guidelines but even so who would make an issue with dancing?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : None should....so...lead the way.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit and headed towards the corridors motioning for her to follow him politely.
Rory_Silverlight_ followed and caught up with him to walk beside him, "Any luck with the journal on your end?"
Alton_Yates looked over as she caught up. "Well I've worked on it. You can track the progress I've made on your datapad as I've set it up for you to be able to cross reference the notes I've made as you work."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Okay....I found something that might interest you though...
Alton_Yates rose a brow. "What is it?" he asked softly.
Rory_Silverlight_ : Remember the one entry I found about the trip to Nar SHadda.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit motioning up ahead they were about to turn to the left before he made the turn. "What about it?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : I found a few more...some further back and some more recent.
Alton_Yates : "Indicating that there have been regular trips to Nar Shaada?"

Rory_Silverlight_ : That is the funny part....there is nothing that is listed up front about it.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit at the placing his fingers on his chin as if in thought. "It seems more and more likely that answers will be found on Nar Shaada..it would just be easier if we had better questions to ask."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Are you suggesting on going?
Alton_Yates "Perhaps..but Nar Shaada is like Coruscant and without a specific place to go it would be nigh on impossible to find something."

Alton_Yates his room was mismatched to a degree. Some part of it was organized and neat while others were disorganized with different notes and other studyings posted all along a workstation. Most of it had to deal with different theories. The middle of the room was open with only a table and chair intruding on the middle
Rory_Silverlight_ : You are one busy guy.
Alton_Yates smiled a bit and chuckled. "Don't let that fool you..most of it is weeks old."

Rory_Silverlight_ smiled.
Alton_Yates smiled back at her and moved to close the door as he moved to the center of the room lifting the table with the force and turning it against the wall creating an empty space.

Rory_Silverlight_ watched as he moved to the center of the room and moved the table in an effortless looking move...once the table landed against the wall gently she moved closer...."You know....you would have impressed a lot of the girls I know."
Alton_Yates looked over at her for a moment. "Well..I don't know about that..I don't intend for my actions to be misconstrued as showing off." he said looking over at her as he walked over to his desk slowly and tapped a few spots flipping through a few display pages

Alton_Yates nodded a bit looking over at her and smiled softly. "Well I suppose I should take the possible interest as a compliment."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Yeah, but they would be so impressed they would not see what is behind the person.
Alton_Yates nodded. "And what about you..if I may be so bold as to ask..what do you see?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : I see someone who helps others without even knowing them...beyond the Jedi....someone that cares genuinely.
Alton_Yates gave an abashed smile at that statement as he looked down at the desk and moved to press a few keys pulling up the music and moving to walk over towards her and offered his hand to her. "I just try to help where I can and if I am able."
Rory_Silverlight_ placed her hands in his and smiled at him..."This is getting to be a habit."
Alton_Yates smiled a bit. "Indeed it is..but it is a habit that I rather enjoy and one I do not wish to break." he said moving to step into her once again
Rory_Silverlight_ followed his lead, "I think this is becoming some sort of a relationship...the dancing that is..."
Alton_Yates tilted his head a bit as he danced with her. "How do you mean?" he asked unsure if he understood correctly.
Rory_Silverlight_ : This is the third time.....so it must be going somewhere....like maybe a dance a day kind of thing?
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Perhaps you are right." he said still moving with her to the soft music. "Though where to I don't know but I would be untruthful if I said that I was not curious."
Rory_Silverlight_ smiled some, "Curious a bit?"
Alton_Yates "More than a bit I think.' he said offering a smile in return
Rory_Silverlight_ THe left side of her mouth curled a bit more..."How much more than a bit..." she felt the turn in the dancing and followed through.
Alton_Yates : "Enough to consider making dancing with you a part of my daily schedule."
Rory_Silverlight_ : I like the sound of that....though if you did it every day....what happens if you are out on mission?
Alton_Yates : "I don't know..perhaps make up for lost time before and after the missions..or take you along to brighten up the trip considerably."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Are you getting soft on me?
Alton_Yates "Would I do that?" he asked playfully. "Besides I am holding out in eternal optimism that you will choose to join the order."
Rory_Silverlight_ sighs..."Its not an option right now..'
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "I know that..and I just meant that once you are able to."
Rory_Silverlight_ : It almost sounds like you want me to do it....
Alton_Yates looked at her thinking he had put his foot in his mouth. "My wish is for you to be happy and safe in whatever path you decide for yourself. Would I like for that to be with the order, yes..but what I want is for you to pick the path that is right for you."
Rory_Silverlight_ : With some wishful thinking?
Alton_Yates : "Perhaps a little wishful thinking."

Alton_Yates watched her smile fade and met her eyes. "Something wrong?" he asked softly

Alton_Yates "Perhaps for a similar mysterious reason that I feel at peace with you around. Perhaps it is we trust one another?" he offered
Rory_Silverlight_ : Could be...but its similar and yet different to how it was being around dad.
Alton_Yates shook his head. "I can't really say..because I don't know." he admitted still holding her as he had during the dance.

Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "I admit that I enjoy your company a great deal and that I believe I am having a similar reaction to your being around."

Rory_Silverlight_ moved with him as he started to dance again...she leaned her head to his shoulder then...trusting he would lead her in motion without having to see where she was going.
Alton_Yates guided her along as she rested her head against his shoulder he would move to tighten his hold around her waist to help prevent her from falling over if she stumbled
Rory_Silverlight_ felt his arms tighten just enough to hold her good and she relaxed even more so. Her breathing was soon even and light.
Alton_Yates continued to move with her even as she relaxed. He would support her as the need arose but for now he thought he had her well enough
Rory_Silverlight_ shifted a bit and soon looked at him..."I would really quickly get used to this.'
Alton_Yates "Well..if time allows then perhaps you can..I certainly wouldn't mind trying."
Rory_Silverlight_ : I am not obligated to do anything.

Alton_Yates tilted his head a bit. "Well..I have been training almost since I could walk."
Rory_Silverlight_ I read that the Simoon warriors from my world trained from almost birth....at age seven they were expected to know how to fight hand to hand...by 14 how to wield a sword. At 20 they were full warriors. This is on my homeworld...ancient history.
Alton_Yates : "Well..many were given to the order as infants, myself included, and have been trained in the jedi arts. I have been training for a long time and though I am young it has taken the vast bulk of my life to reach this point. :
Rory_Silverlight_ : So would it take me that long to get there if I were to become part of the Order?
Alton_Yates : shook his head. "No..a good deal of strength in the force develops as we age..and so you are well ahead of where I was when I first joined the order and could likely get caught up relatively quickly."
Rory_Silverlight_ nods understanding..."So how long are we going to dance...."
Alton_Yates : "We can stop any time that you wish to."
Rory_Silverlight_ : I am getting hungry...
Alton_Yates slowly stopped the dance but didn't pull away from her yet. "What would you like to eat?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : Whatcha got in here?
Alton_Yates : "A few things..mostly just stuff that you heat and serve."
Rory_Silverlight_ : That works....we don't have to go to a crowded place.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit and moved to slowly pull away before turning and heading to the little kitchenette he had and moved to place a couple things in the microwave and set the timer
Rory_Silverlight_ moved over to the table and leaned against it while he popped some things in the microwave. She took a breath and let it out...
Alton_Yates let out a slow breath himself shaking his head a bit as he moved to pull out a couple of plates and silverware to use
Rory_Silverlight_ watched him move around and get things ready.
Alton_Yates pulled the food out of the microwave and moved to return to the table moving to place the dish infront of her. "What would you like to drink?" he asked softly
Rory_Silverlight_ smiled, "Thanks...some water...please."
Alton_Yates smiled and nodded. "Coming right up." he said holding his hand out for the glass which would move float around filling first with ice and then water before moving to float to the table infront of her
Rory_Silverlight_ : You know...if you ever find someone that catches your heart....she is going to love this....
Alton_Yates : "One may capture mine at somepoint though I doubt that I will ever be able to capture theirs. Not many would like jedi if I don't miss my guess."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Why?
Alton_Yates : "As i have said..the jedi have enemies..dangerous ones. The empire just to top the list off."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Is that why they don't marry and have families?
Alton_Yates "Part of it..another part is that powerful emotions can be dangerous..fear of losing someone close to you is dangerous for a jedi. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate and hate to suffering. It is a tale that has been spun many times in history and often leads to wars."
Rory_Silverlight_ : No exceptions?
Alton_Yates "To every rule there are exceptions. The Sith Lord Revan was saved by love as the story goes..as have other jedi been Exar Kun only had to murder his brother to realize his error."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Some throught harder ways than others...
Alton_Yates "True but on the most part powerful emotions have been dangerous for jedi..and will likely remain so because of how hard it is to turn away a dark path once you have started down it
Rory_Silverlight_ : And what if love was what brought one back as in The sith lord's case...the faith of a person in someone....
Alton_Yates "Then perhaps..if a jedi can find someone whom they can truly trust and one who share love..it might not be such a bad thing. I just don't know if I could ever be that person to anyone
Rory_Silverlight_ : Its hard to grasp....I am used to people going into and out of relationships, getting married, having famlies...

Alton_Yates moved to pull her in a bit closer as she did watching over her
Rory_Silverlight_ pushed her hair from her face as they moved...
Alton_Yates looked down at her as they moved watching over her in silence listening to the music and trying to stay somewhat in time with it
Rory_Silverlight_ : I am getting used to this...
Alton_Yates "Stay there for as long as you'd like then."
Rory_Silverlight_ smiled at him..."If I did...."
Alton_Yates smiled back at her a little bit. "If you did..what?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : I might not leave...
Alton_Yates : "Sounds like a tempting proposal."

Rory_Silverlight_ : I am glad you think so...but my father wouldn't.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "Yes I could imagine.." he admitted looking down to her. "Well now, at least, it is available."
Rory_Silverlight_ : I am only 17.....
Alton_Yates : "And I am only 2 years your senior in age."
Rory_Silverlight_ bit on her lip...."And a knight already?"
Alton_Yates tilted his head a bit. "Well..I have been training almost since I could walk."
Rory_Silverlight_ I read that the Simoon warriors from my world trained from almost birth....at age seven they were expected to know how to fight hand to hand...by 14 how to wield a sword. At 20 they were full warriors. This is on my homeworld...ancient history.
Alton_Yates : "Well..many were given to the order as infants, myself included, and have been trained in the jedi arts. I have been training for a long time and though I am young it has taken the vast bulk of my life to reach this point. :
Rory_Silverlight_ : So would it take me that long to get there if I were to become part of the Order?
Alton_Yates : shook his head. "No..a good deal of strength in the force develops as we age..and so you are well ahead of where I was when I first joined the order and could likely get caught up relatively quickly."
Rory_Silverlight_ nods understanding..."So how long are we going to dance...."
Alton_Yates : "We can stop any time that you wish to."
Rory_Silverlight_ : I am getting hungry...
Alton_Yates slowly stopped the dance but didn't pull away from her yet. "What would you like to eat?"
Rory_Silverlight_ : Whatcha got in here?
Alton_Yates : "A few things..mostly just stuff that you heat and serve."
Rory_Silverlight_ : That works....we don't have to go to a crowded place.
Alton_Yates nodded a bit and moved to slowly pull away before turning and heading to the little kitchenette he had and moved to place a couple things in the microwave and set the timer
Rory_Silverlight_ moved over to the table and leaned against it while he popped some things in the microwave. She took a breath and let it out...
Alton_Yates let out a slow breath himself shaking his head a bit as he moved to pull out a couple of plates and silverware to use
Rory_Silverlight_ watched him move around and get things ready.
Alton_Yates pulled the food out of the microwave and moved to return to the table moving to place the dish infront of her. "What would you like to drink?" he asked softly
Rory_Silverlight_ smiled, "Thanks...some water...please."
Alton_Yates smiled and nodded. "Coming right up." he said holding his hand out for the glass which would move float around filling first with ice and then water before moving to float to the table infront of her
Rory_Silverlight_ : You know...if you ever find someone that catches your heart....she is going to love this....
Alton_Yates : "One may capture mine at somepoint though I doubt that I will ever be able to capture theirs. Not many would like jedi if I don't miss my guess."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Why?
Alton_Yates : "As i have said..the jedi have enemies..dangerous ones. The empire just to top the list off."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Is that why they don't marry and have families?
Alton_Yates "Part of it..another part is that powerful emotions can be dangerous..fear of losing someone close to you is dangerous for a jedi. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate and hate to suffering. It is a tale that has been spun many times in history and often leads to wars."
Rory_Silverlight_ : No exceptions?
Alton_Yates "To every rule there are exceptions. The Sith Lord Revan was saved by love as the story goes..as have other jedi been Exar Kun only had to murder his brother to realize his error."
Rory_Silverlight_ : Some throught harder ways than others...
Alton_Yates "True but on the most part powerful emotions have been dangerous for jedi..and will likely remain so because of how hard it is to turn away a dark path once you have started down it
Rory_Silverlight_ : And what if love was what brought one back as in The sith lord's case...the faith of a person in someone....
Alton_Yates "Then perhaps..if a jedi can find someone whom they can truly trust and one who share love..it might not be such a bad thing. I just don't know if I could ever be that person to anyone
Rory_Silverlight_ : Its hard to grasp....I am used to people going into and out of relationships, getting married, having famlies...
Rory_Silverlight_ : (I got to get to bed)
Alton_Yates nodded a bit. "I don't know. I suppose if the right person came along I would try for them.."

Rory_Silverlight_ found herself just walking....no where important. Her frustration grew...she was agitated....she tried to meditate but that did not help...holding her breath for the count of ten did not help...nothing helped.
