From Korriban the Foxtrot Victory had returned into hyperspace unhindered by the fleets over the Sith controlled planet. There had always been a good chance of the space yacht and the Chief of State being pummeled into dust, and yet, both the ship and it's skeleton crew remained unharmed. The Emperess was illusive as ever, and yet, the aging captain set a new course through uncharted hyperspace routes with no hesitation and was once again staring at a streaked starscape.

Word was getting out, through underground networks and through the holonet, that a member of the recently attacked Senate was seeking an audience with the Emperess. Most expected that the 'fool' would end up dead or in prison, but there were some that wondered if the Dark Princess would actually allow the meeting to take place.

Through most channels, the simple message was sent out:

Emperess Sharaha,

I am on an intercept course with your flagship and it's escourt. You need not believe it, but If in the days to come your sensors begin to pick up phantom signatures at the edge of their range, know that it is Ajax Flint. I know this name will be familliar to you, no matter how much the dark side has tainted your view of your past, therefore to make our meeting easier on both our parts, I propose we arrange a meeting officially.

If you wish to contact me, send out a message on any of the compromised rebellion comm channels. I know the Empire has cracked more than one encryption on these channels, so you should have no difficulty. I will be listening for your reply.

Regards,
Ajax Flint.

He would have a damn hard time being a 'phantom' anywhere near the Empress's ships. They were gone. Hidden where he could not go. The only response he would get was silence. The crews that were so fiercely loyal to her were protecting their Princess under the orders of her mate.

Apparently there was only silence as a responce, even though it was likely that the Dark Princess could have the free will to respond on her own should she wish it, whether her mate suggested against it or not. Still, the comm silence would not go on forever. Ajax Flint had expected a long delay. After all, it took a while for communications to reach 'hidden' locations. The beauty was that his words could go where he could not - at least not yet - for no matter how hidden a location was, it still existed, and could still be found if one knew where to look. Regardless, the fact was that if the Emperess wished to meet with him, there would be nothing her mate or the sith could do about it.

If the Force willed it, there would be a meeting.

Throughout the Galaxy, word would begin to spread. This new rumor spread through the holonet and by word of mouth, and was somewhat encouraged by those who wished to tarnish the reputation of the Emperess - both openly by rebels, and annonymously by Moffs and Commanders who wished to control the Empire themselves. The Senator's earlier message had been clearly heard throughout the galaxy, and now word was spreading that the Emperess was hiding, prehaps even afraid of one pitiful old senator. With the Emperess and her fleet off in hidden regions of space unreachable by most, it was likely that the seeds of doubt would begin to grow at the opposite end of the Empire's chain of command, in back-water outposts and areas where the Empire's control was slipping like sand in a fist clenched too tight. The reputation of a coward would not likely be one that would be tolerated by those loyal to the Emperess for long, so even if the Dark Princess did not meet with him, some good would come out of the messages.
