Severice slowly looked at the senator that spoke up and crossed his arms behind his back. Taking an even breath the Jedi master spoke. "You misunderstood my meaning senator. I am waiting for any objections to be aired, indeed it needs to be voted on." Severice turned his head more to look at the senator in question. As a sign of good faith his lightsabers where in the hands of his guards. "All do respect Senator, as a jedi fighting the empire. It is in the best interest that should we succeed that what happened before doesn't happen again." Severice was calm, so this was the senator leto spoke of in his notes and that Senator Torok spoke of when they spoke. "I will wait for the voting to come to an end, and if the winning vote is no then i will leave.
It was as simple as that. But there was something else he wanted to do. "Do you fear the Jedi Senator? Out of all those here, it would seem you do more to try and hinder our fight against the empire." A simple observation, keeping a clear mind. "I have seen the recording of a proposal to ban the use of the force, And to punish those that broke that proposed law by stripping them of there force powers. Which is hard to do i might add, since the source of the force comes from inside all of us."
Lifting his hand he used the force to pick up an apple from a basket he brought with him, after all a Jedi had to eat. "The Empire, the sith, all those seeking to end the Jedi. We are the only defense people have against the dark side, would you force them to abide by such a law Senator?" ( just a note, i was having computer issue's but those have been resolved so i'm back and can start posting on the forums again.)
