Aktorian Syndicate

The Aktorian Syndicate is a particularly nasty criminal network that works in deep space praying upon
shipping, more often then not referred to as Pirates. The title pirate is not really all that accurate as they
do far more then shipping crimes. They have 'Offices' on many worlds that deal in everything from petty
crime to hired hitmen all the way to illegal drugs.

Their Commanding officer, a so-called Commadore Aris Nyat is known as the leader, but usually stays
on planets where he pretty much owns the government in one way or another. Which makes his removal
and trial unlikely.

His ship, is one that was stolen as a prototype ship from one of the outer worlds colonies, and its recapture
has been all but impossible.
